Import tracking information on SKUBana

How to import tracking information on SKUBana which is ordered from outside of your integrated sales channels such as Amazon, Jane Seller, Shopify, and additional sources like Physical Stores.

Sometimes all the channels can’t be combined on Inventory and Listing Management Software, like SKUBana, cause SKUBana does not allow us to integrate all the platforms. So, when we can’t integrate any channel, like Jane Seller or any other platform on SKUBana then to manage the order from SKUBana, we need to create manual order on SKUBana. Read this article and we will show how to do all the process. 

Tracking Shipments on SKUBana

Skubana’s Shipments module allows you to track your deliveries, wherever their final destination may be, whichever provider you are using for your product shipments. Aside from tracking shipments, the module allows you to:

  • View details of shipped orders
  • Print labels, packing slips, and pick lists
  • Edit as Hold Until Date, Cancel Order, Split Order, Mark ‘Shipped’
  • Merge orders
  • Import Orders, Import Shipments, Export Selected Orders
  • Resend confirmation emails

Like almost every other Skubana module, the Shipments module has a Search/Filter pane at the left. On the right, you can see the shipment records. At the top are buttons for operations you can perform on shipments and/or shipment records. Clicking an order number on the grid in the right displays the details of the shipped order. Clicking the tracking number takes you to the shipping providers’ website, where you can keep track of the progress of your shipment on its way to your customer.

To import tracking information on SKUBana, you need to follow some procedures. We will discuss that procedure.

Import tracking information on SKUBana

Suppose, you have an account on Skubana. Within Skubana, you are able to import tracking information to account for any orders that come from outside your integrated sales channels.

The procedure is described below:

Step-1: You need to login to your SKUBana account first. Then, you are able to see the “Dashboard” page which is the initial page in SKUBana.

Step-2: Now you need to click on the “Orders” from the “Dashboard”.

After clicking on “Orders“, you are able to view the full page. Now you need to Search/Filter by Order ID at the left.

Before searching by specific order id, you need to take the information as Order ID & Shipping Carrier from your mail address.

Step-3: Now, you need to Login in you mail and take the required information as Order ID from mail address.

You need to collect the order id as #45642306. Now, we need to move to the SKUBana website again.

Step-4: Now you need to search by the order id on SKUBana. At first you need to click on the search box, then you need to input the order number and click on the Enter.

Now, you are able to see three options for an order id at the top of the page. These three types of status are like:

  1. Unresolved
  2. Awaiting Shipment
  3. Shipped

We will discuss these statuses shortly for understanding properly. But, first, we want to know the status of our product id.

Step-5: After clicking the Enter button, We are able to see our products status. We are able to see the status of our product is Unresolved.

The Unresolved status means that the product is out of stock. We need to add the product.

Step-6: Now for solving the Unresolved issue, we need to click on the Inventory page for adding products and also need to search by SKU as marrowbritishtan-8.5 on the search bar.

Now, you need to click on the Name and then click on the Pickable. Now, you are able to see the available. Our product available is -2.

Now, Again you need to click on the Edit button and then also need to click on the Add button for adding product quantity.

After clicking on the Add button, we are able to see the Add Stock box and we need to fill up the box.

Now, we need to add here (+2), because our product available is -2. We also add a note in the edit notes as MF- #45642306. After inputting this information, we need to Save the document.

Step-7: Now you need to go back on the Orders page and again search by the order id. You are able to see that the status of the order id is changed as Awaiting Shipment.

The Awaiting Shipment status means that we need to input the product tracking number and shipping carrier. We need to add the product.

Now, you need to collect the tracking number and shipping carrier from the mail address.

Step-8: Now, you need to Login in the mail again and click on the Track package.

After clicking on the Track package, we need to collect on the Shipping Carrier and Tracking Number. Our products Shipping Carrier is USPS and Tracking Number is 9205590213422329718901

After collecting this information, we need to move to the SKUBana website again.

Step-9: Now, you need to click on the edit button and then click on Mark ‘Shipped’ in the SKUBana website. 

After clicking on the Mark ‘Shipped’, you are able to see a box as Create External Shipments.

Now you need to input tracking number and shipping carrier. Our products Tracking Number is 9205590213422329718901 and Shipping Carrier is USPS, here we select USPS Amazon because we want to ship the Amazon product. We also select Yes for both Notify Customer and Update Channel.

Step-10: Now, you need to search by order id on the SKUBana website. You are able to see the status is shipped.

The Shipped status means that we have successfully inputted all the information.

By following this procedure, you can easily import tracking information on SKUBANA.
