eBay description template is an advanced form of the eBay listing description. It provides all essential information about products, shipping, price, payments, category, and other store information. Description templates have a huge impact on your eBay sales and the visibility of your listings.

If you are a multichannel seller or use multichannel management software to manage your eBay account, how would you integrate your eBay Template Builder? We are here to help you with that.

In this article, We will show you how you can integrate your Ecomdash with Boostontime eBay Template. So that any new listing you create on eBay from Ecomdash will have our eBay template wrapped around it. You may also revise your old listings with the new template from Ecomdash.

Now let’s get started:

Step 1:

Select a template from the available templates. Then select Ecomdash as the 3rd party application and click on Generate HTML Code.

Ecomdash Tags for Title, Price, Images, Description, Brand, Model will be added in the Generated Template.

Step 2:

After generating the template, please click on HTML Code → Copy HTML button to copy the Generated Template.

Step 3:

Please perform the following steps to Integrate the eBay listing template with Ecomdash. Please log in to your Ecomdash account and navigate to:

Setting → Listing Settings → Listing Templates

Step 4:

Please click on Add New from the Listing Templates page.

Step 5:

Please input a template name of your choice in the Template Name Input Field, then select the Storefront from the dropdown. Then Save it.

Step 6:

Click on the Source of Template Body, there will come the field of pasting HTML code then paste the generated template in the HTML Text field and Save the template.

Step 7:

To preview the listing template on Ecomdash click on the Source again.

Now If you do not want to add any additional Specifications.

But If you want to add additional specifications to the template, then please follow the following steps:

Please find the div element with an id of item_specifics inside the HTML text area. e.g. <div id=”item_specifics”>

Please add the following list item (li) element before the closing unordered list tag (</ul> – please take a look at the above screenshot) for each additional specification.

All The Ecomdash Tags can be found in the Available Tags list which is called Merge Fields.

Example 1:

If we want to add a specification for Barcode. We may use the [Barcode] tag for Barcode. Let’s use UPC as Barcode. The list item (li) for Barcode will look like:

Example 2:

If we want to add a specification for Color. We may use the [Color] tag Color. The list item (li) for Condition will look like:

Please Save The Template after adding the additional Specifications.

Now you have successfully integrated our mobile responsive eBay listing template with your Ecomdash account. The template will be applied to new eBay listings you create from Ecomdash.

Step 8:

To apply it on a new listing or existing listing need to go to the marketplace listing backend of Ecomdash then select the newly created Description Template from the dropdown then Save it.
