Creating Listings on eBay one by one is a very time consuming and tedious process. To solve the problem, eBay has added a Create New Listings feature to create listings in bulk under specific categories. In this article, we will discuss the process of creating new listings in bulk using eBay templates.

eBay has made it easier for the sellers to create listings in bulk, now you can download a template to list items in bulk. eBay has defined the required information and you can also provide other optional information. It will be very helpful for the sellers to list items faster and accurately.

Please follow the steps to easily create the new listing in bulk by using the eBay listing template.

First, Log into your seller hub. 

At the bottom of the page, you will find “File Exchange” under Selling Tools. Click on “File Exchange”. 

Click on “Get template”. 

You need to choose the template source, there are two types of sources: “Orders” and “Listings”. Since you want to create new listings, click on “Listings”.

Now, you need to select the “Template type” and click on “Create new listings”.

Select the “File type”. I recommend selecting “Excel Spreadsheet” because sometimes the format of the number can be changed in the “Comma Separated File”.

Then, select the “Categories”. Be careful when you are selecting the “Categories” because if you choose the wrong categories, you will lose visibility on eBay. So to stay visible and generate sales, select the proper categories. Click on “Done”.

Now, click on “Download”.

You must fill the required fields with red marks. You can also fill in other optional fields. Then Save the file. 

Again, go to File exchange and click on Upload Template.

Now, choose your file to upload. That’s all and you are done with the tasks.
