How to Promote your Listings on eBay-

Step-1: Go to eBay Seller Hub and hover over Listings and click on Active from the dropdown.

Step-2: Click on the Edit dropdown of one of your active listings and click on Promote.

Step-3: From the next page, Set ad rate. The ad rate is the percentage of the final sale price that you are willing to pay to have your listing promoted. After that, click on Promote button.

Step-4: Now, from the Marketing tab go to the Advertising dashboard from the bottom-left of the screen. You can see the Summary of your promoted listings here.


Scroll down to find the Performance (impressions) graph. You will have an idea about how many times you appeared on any eBay website. And can spot the difference between organic listings and promoted listings impressions.

Continue scrolling down, you will also have the Impressions number and number of clicks on your promoted listing.

Step-5: From here click on the Edit option from the dropdown and you can Pause or End your campaign anytime.

Step-6: Now, go to the Overview from the Seller Hub. You can see the Traffic here. Click on the See your traffic report.

Here you will have Impressions, your sold quantity, click-through rate, and sales conversion rate.

Click through rate: Clicks divided by impressions. The percentage of times buyers saw your ad and clicked on it.

Sales conversion rate: The percentage of promoted listings purchased after click.

Step-7: Click on Download active listings traffic report to analyze your campaign.

You can review and change your ad strategy any time from your promoted listings.
