How to ADD/Change Lead Time/Handling Time on Amazon by SellerCloud

In this article, we will show you the procedure on how we can add/change lead time on Amazon by SellerCloud.

Amazon provides the estimated delivery time to buyers on the offer listing and checkout pages. We base this estimate on the time between when the buyer places an order until the delivery reaches the buyer’s address.

Handling Time (also known as Fulfillment Latency or Production Time or lead_time_to_ship) is the time between when the buyer places the order until you hand the order over to your carrier. Handling time is displayed on the offer listing and checkout page:

Setting Fulfillment Latency Through SellerCloud

Fulfillment Latency can be set for a specific product on the Amazon Properties tab. Go to the inventory page search with the item for which you want to add or change the fulfilment latency. When the item will appear click on “a” (amazon sign).

By default the Lead time to ship value is 1 days. You can ship your item within 1 to 30 days.

Click on the Save button to save your handling time that you have added.

You will find a successfully saved notification. Select “Post product to Amazon” from the action menu and click on Go.

If you want to add or update handling time for many items, you can update in bulk. You can download the template from SellerCloud also. Suppose you want to update handling time for all of the variations of Ariat 10026147. Go to the inventory page, search for Ariat 10026147. When items will appear select Custom Export and click on Go.

Select Fulfillment Latency For Amazon and the Export File Format Excel and click on Continue.

Your file has been exported, change the Fulfillment Latency For Amazon as you want to offer.

Go to Bulk Update Products, select the company name, file and file type, then submit.

If you find on the amazon properties page of any variation item, you will see the days for lead time has updated.

Again search with the keyword on the inventory page, select all pages. Select launch on Amazon catalog and click on Go.

On Amazon catalog you will find your Handling Time has been added or updated.
